This great hike, although it does not require much technique, does require a little effort. They are 12 km from the town of Villanueva, the walk begins in a place called El Alto De Marta. Much of the route is carried out down an old ancestral trail, which after the colonial era was converted into a commercial road. We will take a break at a viewpoint called El Mirador De Rancho Alegre, where we will take some photos and contemplate the majesty of the CHICAMOCHA CANYON, before starting our great descent to the bottom of the canyon.
Once we reach the end of the path, walkers will have the opportunity to choose among several places to rest: ecolodges with swimming pools and lunch, and restaurants in the town of Jordan.
Before returning to the hotel, we will visit the town of Jordan, with one of the smallest towns in the country and the first toll booth in Colombia, built on a suspension bridge.
